I use Microsoft Office for a lot of things, translating (with the help of a add-on) and editing documents, carry my personal finances, carry a database of my clients, spell check personal letters, etc, I was looking for it to have more online capability. Now, with a much improved NetMeeting (available in previous versions but more difficult to use), I can send my documents instead of attaching them in an email.
Windows XP brought along a great change in graphics and the version of Office was not left behind. I believe the change that was wit is remarkable, the toolbars have a new look, graphics are much better and are easier to identify ( you don’t need to hover your mouse pointer to read the tool-tip). The assistant doesn’t appear automatically, which is a very nice thing, since I really hate those characters!
This version of Office has so many programs that I guess you may not use them all! It's an excellent price for such amount of software. The list includes: Access 2003 (a very complete database administration tool) Excel 2003 (the famous spreadsheet program) Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager (Microsoft’s e-mail program), PowerPoint 2003 (multimedia presentations), Publisher 2003 (desktop publishing and Web site creation), and Word 2003 (word processing program). The one software I don’t use from the list is Outlook 2003, but that is so because I’m a security freak and there’s been some reports on the subject.
To sum up, you have a great bunch of software which delivers great results, a good price and good tech support, I think you should buy it!
